In response to urgent health needs in West Darfur's Muli village and other nearby villages, IOM, in co-ordination with the State Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) have been running a temporary mobile clinic delivering lifesaving health interventions reaching 4,855 vulnerable IDPs and returnees. (2330 females, 2525 males of which 1356 were under 5 years old)

Generously funded by the Government of Japan, the temporary mobile clinic ran for 45 days and was set up in respond to the region’s strained resources for quality health services such as outpatient treatments, vaccinations and malnutrition screening for children under five years old (U5s), maternal care, and health promotion and vector control activities. Muli and its surrounding villages are located in South El Geniena with a population of 5217.
